Boric acid 1% alcoholic solution - 10ml

Ear drops


Generic name: Boric acid.
Pharmacological  group: anti-infective ear mean.
Drug form: ear drops
Composition: Boric acid-1g, 96% ethanol -72.91 ml, water to 100ml.
Pharmacological operation: The preparation is characterised with antiseptic and antimicrobial action. Boric acid coagulates enzymes of microbe cells, permeability of microbial cell is reduced, that reduces growth and development  of  microbes.
Indications: acute and chronic otitis.
Administration and dosage rule:
Squeeze  3-5 drops into ear for  2-3 times a day or insert a soft cotton plug in ear.
Side-effects: Long-term usage of  preparation may cause disfunction of kidneys, toxic reactions: vomiting,  diarrhea, rash, headache, spasmes.
Contra-indications:
• Additional sensitivity towards the component composing in the preparation.
• Pregnancy and the period of a lactation.
• Children’s age.
Special directions: Try to avoid spreading of solution on mucous membranes and the damaged surface of a skin.
Over dosage: Signs of  an acute intoxication: vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, suppression of a blood circulation and CNS, decrease of temperature of body, coma.
 The treatment is symptomatic and specific antidote doesn’t exist.
Pregnancy and the Period of Lactation: Can not be used during pregnancy and lactation period.
Interaction with other medical preparations:  no data available.
Production form: 10 ml solution in a polymeric or glass bottles with dropper. Issue:Pharmaceutical product group III - Allowed to use without a prescription
Storage conditions: It is stored in a place protected from light and in a place inaccessible to children, At a room  temperature.
In a case of expiry of the term of the validity or tracking down of defects at visual inspection use of a preparation is not supposed.
Shelf life: 2 years.
