Cordiamin 25% 15ml drops
Pharmacological group: Other drugs for the treatment of respiratory diseases, respiratory stimulators.
Dosage form: Drops for oral administration.
Composition: Nicotinic acid diethylamide - 25
g;
Distilled water - till 100 ml.
Pharmacological
operation: Stimulates the central nervous system, excites
respiratory and vasculomotor stimulating centres, has direct stimulating effect
on heart, does not reveal narrowing effect of vessels. It raises arterial
pressure and improves heart work.
Indication:
• Acute and chronic cardiovascular
insufficiency;
• The asphyxia and asphyxia of newborns;
• The collapse;
• The state of shock;
• The hypotension;
• Sometimes, poisoning with somnolent, narcotic
substances and analgesic.
Contraindications: Additional sensitivity towards the preparation, convulent phenomenon.
Using rule and dosage: The preparation is dilute in a

For adults –15-40 drops on single taking 2-3
times in a day.
For children – the quantity of drops equal to

Interaction with other medicines or other sort interaction: Cordamine strengthens the effect of
psychostimulant, antidepressant drugs, weakens narcotic analgesics, somnolents,
antipsychotropic medicines (neuroleptics) anxiolytic, antiepileptic drugs
action. The effect of cordamine weakens by para-aminosalicylic acid (PAS),
phenothiazine derivatives and general anesthetic products. Reserpine can strengthens
preparation’s epilepsy causing action.
Influence on drivers of cars and the personnel working with potentially
dangerous installations: Usage of preparation with treatment dose does not influence.
Caution and special
indication: It is
advisable to consult with the doctor before using the cordamine.
Overdose: In case of overdose cordiamin can
cause convulsion.
