PARANOL 

Drug form: Spray for external use.

Pharmacotherapeutic group: Anti-parasites (treatment of pediculosis).

Composition: active substances: extract of camomile flowers, extract of carnation buds, eucalyptus oil, mint oil, rosemary oil, ylang-ylang oil, lavender oil,  sodium chloride, acetic acid.

Pharmacological activity: The mechanism of action of "Paranol" is completely different from the mechanism of action of chemicals against lice: solution suppresses respiratory tract of insects, suffocates and kills parasites. By the action of the solution, the cover will enwind the eggs of lice and they are becoming weak to adhere to the hair. Acid area also helps to the solution of substance facilitating adhere eggs to the hair, so it is easier to washing off or combing out from the hair.

Natural vegetable oils and extracts of the preparation reduce the development of inflammatory processes, itching and allergic reactions on the skin, which is caused by the influence of louse’s saliva on the organism. It helps to restore the skin and hair damaged structure, improves metabolism processes in the skin.

Indication: Pediculosis of the hairy part of the head (anti lice and anti lice eggs).

Way of administration and dose: Spray should be applied on the dry hair. Shake the vial well before use and spray on the unwashed hair so that to become slightly wet.

Apply the preparation well on the hair, rub into the skin.  Be sure that all area is covered by the solution. Wrap the hair and remain the solution on the skin minimum 30 minutes.  It is desirable to prolong the time for 1 hour. After that, comb out the hair carefully with a special comb, put the comb in the suds after each combing, comb down from the top (from the hair roots to the end). After this procedure wash your hair with shampoo.

Repeating the procedure is recommended after 5-8 days in order to kill the newly incubated insects from the eggs.

Side effects: It can cause a feeling of skin burning locally.

Contraindication:

• It is contraindicated for those who have hypersensitivity to any component of the product;
• Not used in children under 2 years;

Pregnancy and lactation period: Not studied. Therefore, it is advisable to consult your doctor before using it.

Overdose: No cases of overdose have been observed.

Caution: Be careful and avoid the solution in the eye. In this case, rinse the mucous membrane of the eye with warm water.

Oral administration (inside) is impermissible.

Package: Primary packaging: 100ml solution in a spray vial with sprayer.

Secondary packaging: 1 vial in a carton box with instruction for use.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Preparation must not be used in case of expire or finding the defect after visual inspection.

Issue: III group, issued without prescription.

Storage conditions: Stored at 15_25⁰C temperature in a dry place, keep away from the sight of children.
