Composition: Active substance: Iodine - 0.3 g / to 30g;

Excipients: Potassium iodide, glycerin, distilled water.

Pharmacological action: In view of the content of elemental iodine, Lugol's solution is characterized by bactericidal action. Elemental iodine has antimicrobial effects on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including staphylococcus, streptococcus, E. coli, Klebsiella.

For typical formulations of elemental iodine expressed locally irritating effect and in the effect of high concentrations of cauterizing the surface.

Glycerin reduces tissue edema, the surface of the skin and mucous membrane forms a protective layer.

Indications:

• Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mucous membranes of the esophagus and throat (tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis);

• Angular stomatitis;

Application and dosage: Use spray on the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, esophagus and larynx 4-6 - times a day (at the time of spraying, it is desirable to hold your breath). For spraying you need to press the valve once. Within 30 minutes after the drug should not take food or drink liquids.

Side effects: May develop signs yodizma: rhinitis, skin rash, urticaria, salivation, lacrimation, contact dermatitis, erythema, dry skin, itching, nausea, vomiting, bronchospasm, angioedema (observed in some patients because of the smell of the drug) redness at the site of application.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to the drug;

• Dry throat.

Overdose: Symptoms of intoxication: symptoms yodizma. Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.

Special instructions: In the event of symptoms caused by an overdose, seek medical attention immediately. Beware solution into the eye. In this case, the solution is urgently needed to wash off with water.

Pregnancy and lactation: The product is not used during pregnancy and lactation.

Interaction with other drugs: The drug is not used together with hydrogen peroxide or other disinfectants.
